Description

Hi.

I am currently sourcing for investors to join venture to start a new cafe, which is a dessert bar that sells pastries, ice cream, parfaits and light alcohol.

I do have the relevant F&B experience and have the strong confidence in our concept, bringing it from ideation to realisation.

This company hasn’t been incorporated but I hope to have an investor onboard as a sleeping partner to help fund the venture.

I would like to offer 49% shares of the soon-to-set-up company at $85,000. Therefore, you will be investing a total of $85,000 for 49% shareholding and the remaining 51% will be owned by me, the other founder, who will manage the business on a daily basis. So you do not need to worry about the business, and you can let this be a side income for you.

Looking for sincere investors only.

USPs:
Dessert bar concept is novelty and unique
Targets the upmarket, PMETs between 25-50 years
500sqft premise (yet to be secured; shortlisted several locations but they will not be revealed until things between us are more firmed up)
Juicy launch for the press to write about

Criteria for investing:
Have a deep interest in F&B
Have a good appreciation of fine desserts and its art
Frequented dessert concept shops in Millenia Walk, Lady M, Patisserie G etc.
Willing to enter a relationship whereby you come up with the funds, and your other partner do the rest of the work
Open to ideas, yet realistic and grounded

ROI:
Expected 32 - 36% ROI within the next 2 years, having taken into account of COVID-19 as an endemic

Why $85K specifically?
Some of this upfront cash goes into the company's savings for rainy days - this is my philosophy in running a business because it affects cashflow.
The startup cost is less than $85K, but I'm asking for $85K because we need cashflow for a start e.g. to pay off rental deposit
Includes all regulations and licenses, including alcohol, branding and marketing costs, interior design and renovation work, equipment purchase
